Congratulations to Karen Ballard, this year’s winner of the KAFE 104.1 Dream Home Do-Over!

This year’s winner was the 10th person to try her key on stage. Karen Ballard chose key #47 and was shocked when it unlocked the door of the KAFE Dream House.

Listeners had over two and a half months to stop by a KAFE event or instant finalist remote broadcast and enter for a chance to be drawn and added into the running.

After months of sorting through entries and picking out finalists, everyone gathered at the Silver Reef Casino on May 7th to see who the lucky winner would be. Only one out of 10 4 finalists could receive $15,000 towards the home remodel of their dreams.

Dream Home Do-Over (DHDO) had 15 sponsors, 12 of which the winner can put their $15,000 credit towards. The sponsors are local, and provide a variation of services including home remodel, improvement, and restoration.

“Congratulations to Karen! I’m sure she’s going to have a blast shopping…with all of the bills coming to us. With such a large variety of prize sponsors, she has an endless string of possibilities—from furniture to solar power, plumbing to a new deck,” said KAFE 104.1’s Scotty VanDryver.
